Fiddle Sticks is a Chicago based indie folk rock band blending Americana textures with thoughtful, lyric-driven songwriting pop vibes that feels both intimate and restless. Built around acoustic guitars, piano, bass, percussion, and rich four-part harmonies, the band’s sound moves easily between quiet, reflective moments and pulsing rhythmic pop sensibility.
Founding members Dave Moran and Mark Sherman spent years writing and performing as a duo before ultimately submitting to the undeniable truth that they were writing songs meant for more hands. Embracing that reality, they expanded the sound with piano, bass, and percussion, bringing Brian Fifield and Gregory McClendon into the mix. In 2024, two became four and that rhymes. The band is currently (early 2026) working on the release of their first EP and full length album dropping this Spring.
